Can you imagine a synagogue that offers a Hebrew School education that is second to none, in an atmosphere that is so enjoyable that children actually look forward to their classes? A synagogue that understands that parents and children need flexibility with their busy schedules? Can you imagine those children in a stress-free environment where there is little pressure and lots of pleasure? A place where children receive individualized Bar/Bat Mitzvah training and interact with our spiritual leader, Rabbi Ken Tarlow? This is precisely the education that Congregation Beth Torah’s Hebrew School provides. Under the leadership of Religious Director, Lisa Glyck, each child experiences the joys of learning Hebrew, reciting prayers, leading Friday night services, participating in Jewish culture and traditions, understanding Jewish History, and the importance of Israel. Throughout the year, we offer Hebrew School for children in K-7th grade. Children are taught in a stress-free environment where learning is central and pressure is non-existent. Hebrew School culminates with our outstanding Bar/Bat Mitzvah preparation program, where each child receives individualized attention while learning a program that has been tailored to his/her abilities. As a result, each child feels exceptionally well prepared and confident for their special day. Educational opportunities continue for our teens as many serve as aides to our younger children in the Hebrew School. For more information, contact Educational Director Lisa Glyck at
